Submitted by jstephe7 on

What is CERN?

This faculty peer network offers early-career and community-engaged scholars an opportunity to explore best practices, navigate institutional policies, and build supportive connections. Participants will engage with experienced researchers, connect with community members, and develop strategies for conducting and sharing community-engaged work.

The program goals are:

  • Build awareness of key principles and best practices for intentionally, ethically, and meaningfully pursuing community-engaged research and scholarship
  • Understand UMD policies and practices that impact community-engaged research and scholarship and faculty who engage in it
  • Build connections between faculty with similar research goals/interests.

How APTF Works
