The ADVANCE Program and the Office of Diversity & Inclusion, in collaboration with the Office of Faculty Affairs, are seeking applications for faculty and administrators interested in becoming Faculty Search Coaches. Faculty Search Coaches lead workshops on inclusive hiring practices for faculty search committees at UMD.
We invite faculty and campus administrators with a strong track record in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) to apply. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and be open to engaging with campus constituents. Coaches will undergo two days of intensive, in-person training on July 10th and 11th and receive a small professional development stipend for facilitating campus workshops.
