Department teams participate in several core activities as part of the project.
- A workshop sharing the latest social science research on implicit bias as it relates to how faculty work is taken up, assigned, and rewarded and strategies to reduce that bias.
- Creation of faculty work activity dashboards using locally available teaching and service data, supported by project leaders and templates they provide.
- Examination and adoption of work practices and policies to proactively share collective teaching and service work.
- Professional development for department faculty on becoming a good ally for workload fairness and on time managment and saying yes and no strategically.
