Dr. Lester Andrist is the director for the graduate degree programs in Public Safety Leadership and Administration, where his responsibilities include leading, coordinating, recruiting, and teaching, to name just a few. The courses Dr. Andrist teaches include Leadership in Diverse Organizations, Ethics in Criminal Justice, Power and Status in Organizations, and Making Sense of Criminal Justice Methods and Statistics. He has served for two years as Co-chair of the Equity and Justice Committee within the Department of Sociology and is currently serving as an elected member of the The Campus Affairs Committee, which oversees policies, concerns, and issues that affect the entire campus. Finally, Dr. Andrist is a member of the Research Advisory Board for the Active Bystandership for Law Enforcement (ABLE) Project, which is housed at Georgetown University.
